One of the things that make the race in Horice to one of my favorite race is the fantastic atmosphere and all the fans there. In many places are there people that make the race really alive! One of them corners is the hairpin called Vodojem after the water tank there. There is Fun Club - Team Vodojem.
After the race they storm in to the track and want the riders to do some burn outs and drink beer with them. Making a lot of noice under the race and a lot after to! :)

Meeting with my racing freinds
In Czech Republic I have many freinds from my years of racing there. Photographers, marchals, racers, public and many more. One of my new freind down there this year was a young girl as I remember her name as Magdalene and her famely. They did have one of many "fun club" that are around the track and they did have me as one of there favorites. So I did a burn out where they was after my race and later in the paddock they did come and say it was a good race!

Race day - 300ZGH Horice
Sunday and time for my first race of the season!
A short warm-up of 10 minutes did start the day to do the final check of the bike and track before the race. And shortly after that was a opening cermony of the race with the towns mayer and represents from the organizing club and a smal speak from the Irish rider Michael Pearson.
To the race did I have the fantastic artist Emmy Rich as a grid girl and Hanna Rovly as grid girl /mechanic! They did make the grid really shine up!
The start did go good as I have learn to make good start with my 125GP bike and I did passsome other riders. Was at 8:th place for long and following the Dutch rider Michal Hofman. But after some slide with front and rear tire and some of the 250GP bikes passing me from starting behind us on the grid i decided to not push any harder. In the middle of the race did local rider Jan Novotny pass my after being out of the track from a early crash from the German rider Werner Steege. So my result in this race was 9:th place. That was first time in top 10 at this track that is the hardest track with hardest rider line up. So I was happy to have made some progress at this race and to have so good feeling with my bike!

Qualifycation at 300ZGH
Down in CZ and Horice we did set everything up with a good place in the middle of the paddock together with the other Swedish rider George Carlsson. Bike went thru technical inspection without any problem. Our group from Sweden did have 2 cabins situated also in the middle of the paddock. Blue sky and bright sun did make it feel like a Swedish summer!
First qualifying the riding and bike did feel almost perfect! Just some smal wheelies when flipping the bike from one side to the other and my self gliding forward in braking and a feeling of to mutch weight on front wheel then. Looking at the result and I was in total 16:th of the 37 riders on the track. Im my class 125GP was I in 10:th position. So good start of season as I only done one test day before and many of my rivals have done 2 race before this race.
